WiFi extender replacement
I have a faulty WiFi extender which is still within 12mo warranty. I was told to go into Xfinity retail store to exchange and they told me since it was over 14 days I need to initiate the exchange online. I submitted 2 forms with no response so I called Xfinity customer service who confirmed my extender is still within the warranty period but said they will not ship me the replacement. I was told the replacement must be taken to a nearby retail store. I’m not sure why each team is directing me back to the other? How can I get the exchange completed, I don’t want to drive all the way back to the store to be declined again?!

Hey @user_spj7z9. Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. We appreciate you taking the time to reach and and leave a post regarding the Xfinity WiFi Extenders and the warranty process. If a device is not functioning correctly, the device may fall under replacement under the 12-month warranty. This would be determined once the device has been shipped to us.
Did you fill out the warranty form that is provided on our 'How to return or exchange Xfinity WiFi Extenders or Storm-Ready WiFi and Battery Backup' support page? You would need to submit a valid phone number an email address along with the Exchange option if outside the 30-day return window. You should receive an email within 48 hours.
If you have filled out this form, did you check the junk/promotions/spam folder in case the email got redirected outside the main Inbox?
