Why is my Internet still out?

There was planned maintenance scheduled between 7am and 4pm. It's now 8:15pm and I still don't have Internet. When I go to customer support it says I don't have Internet due to a planned outage. How long will I not have Internet? I work from home and this is costing me money. Where is the schedule?
