Why does Xfinity say I have Paramount Plus when all I really seem to have is Paramount Network live television?

Xfinity bill and app clearly says I have Paramount Plus included in my package. There's no way to log in and when I chat with customer service they're telling me I don't actually have Paramount Plus I only have the Paramount Network on channel 53. Why does Xfinity say I have Paramount Plus?

@user_lhpm3s Paramount + is an added paid streaming service. That said we are happy to investigate your account and make sure everything is correct. Please feel free to send us your full name and complete address in a direct message for more help:

"Search for Xfinity Support" won't work. To send a "Direct Messaging" message to Xfinity Support:


 • Click "Sign In" if necessary


 • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging


 • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon


 • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there


 •  - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list


 •  - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line


 • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window


 • Press Enter to send it

I've already chatted with Xfinity. This forum was actually more useful as there are apparently many many customers with the same question, and the answer is apparently that even though I have Paramount Plus I don't have Paramount Plus. The Xfinity chat basically told me that as well.

@user_lhpm3s Gotcha. So yes if you are not paying for Paramount + you would not be able to access their streaming serivce as Paramount and Paramount + are two different services.

Apparently I have channel 1840 as well but it seems to be the same as channel 53. It's not Paramount "Plus" which is the streaming service. I see there are lots of other similar threads on this topic.  Clearly I'm not the only one confused by Comcast telling me I have a service that I apparently don't. This is deceptive at least and possibly fraudulent unless I'm misunderstanding something.

So the final outcome of this thread is that even though my bill says I have Paramount Plus, I don't actually have Paramount Plus streaming service and that is just the way it is. Very bizarre and misleading.

My plan says the same thing. Showtime/Paramount plus included.  I can find showtime[ Big deal,never watch it] . Can't find paramount plus.
