When will Xfinity allow non-Peacock Plus enabled plans to upgrade to Peacock Plus?

I am currently on an Xfinity plan that does not allow for a Peacock Plus subscription. I am interested in upgrading to Peacock Plus to enjoy an ad-free experience.

Could you please provide information on any promotions, offers, or changes to my plan that would enable me to access Peacock Plus? If there are specific steps I need to follow or any additional costs involved, I would appreciate your guidance.

Greetings, @Aprillordrake! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum about upgrading your Peacock subscription. You have definitely come to the right place for assistance.

You can now manage your Peacock Premium subscription, or upgrade to the ad-free Peacock Premium Plus, by logging in to your Entertainment Management Page online. A full description of the process is provided on our Help Section here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/cancel-peacock-premium-plus

I get Peacock premium free from Xfinity, but if I upgrade to the ad-free Peacock Premium Plus, I have to pay the full price of $13.99. Why? Peacock Premium cost $7.99 or ad-free Premium Plus for $13.99. Could Xfinity offer an upgrade fee of $6 for Peacock Premium Plus to their members receiving Peacock premium for free?

We completely understand your concern about the pricing for upgrading to Peacock Premium Plus. Here’s how it works: the free Peacock Premium access you get through Xfinity is a benefit we provide to enhance your entertainment options. However, Peacock Premium Plus, which includes the ad-free experience, is offered directly by Peacock and isn't covered under the complimentary subscription from Xfinity.

Your suggestion of offering an upgrade fee for Xfinity members is a fantastic idea and something we’ll definitely pass along to the team. Customer feedback like this helps us explore new ways to add value to the services we provide.

In the meantime, we appreciate you being part of the Xfinity family and will share any updates if changes to the upgrade options become available. Let us know if there’s anything else we can help with! 😊

The peacock situation is beyond. The ad supported version has at least 20 ads per TV episode and they only have three different ones for an entire season. It is torture. I was offered a trial for plus.
