VPN keeps dropping out

HELP!

I work from home and I have called into Comcast/Xfinity several times in the past couple months that my VPN keeps disconnecting after 5 minutes while I am using it. There was supposedly a fix in my area last week but I am still having this issue. I cannot work from home like this! I have disconnected and reconnected my modem several times so please don't tell me to try that again.

user_amfpxi Thank you for your post and letting us know about your troubles with your VPN. I also use a VPN for work so I can understand how important it is to get connected. Sounds like you have done your basic troubleshooting steps. Have you already been in contact with your works IT Team for help with the VPN?

No, I cannot seem to get past the phone system to talk to anyone. Can you share the best way to contact them?

I have spent MANY hours on this with my IT team at work. We have reinstalled Teams, Cisco and my mac OS to no avail also. They are convinced the issue in with xfinity.

user_amfpxi Understood. When you are not connected to a VPN are you having connection issues for example like on your smartphone, tablet or maybe Smart TV?

user_amfpxi got it. Since you are able to surf with no issues when not using the VPN that shows us that it's the device/VPN issue.
