Voice Repair/Advanced Tech Support

Hello,

There were some network issues in the area on July 14, 2026, and they were resolved quickly throughout the day. The last alert came through around 6 p.m. stating that everything should be up and running; however, the TVs didn't come back on. We followed the instructions by checking the cable, resetting, and turned off/on with no resolution. Reached support by chat and was passed off to a few different agents. Finally, the agent said their was no plan on the account. I wasn't sure about that because I had the account pulled up at the time and was able to see it, and then it disappeared. One of the agents asked me if I made any changes. I had not made any changes. The agent said I would get an email and to follow the prompts, and I did. The prompts was confirming what was supposed to be the same plan that I had, with no changes. I don't know why the plan was removed from the account because I didn't ask for that. I was just trying to get my TVs working. After completing it, one of the TVs came back on. I then got a call from my daughter on my cellphone to let me know that the house phone wasn't working. So, she connected again to support through chat to let them know that the phone was now not working.

Now, we have another agent who said he could resolve the matter. The phone didn't have an issue before reaching out to support. We reached out to support around 7 p.m. or 7:30p and the final chat ended a little before midnight, and that 1a for my daughter. There was no resolution. My daughter called the phone number and it beeped twice and then hung up and there was no dial tone on my end. They verified my name, phone number, and address. When the agent who made the changes asked for the phone number....I provided it. His reply was okay. Then another number popped up, and I asked what number that was. No response, but for me that was okay. I would have been okay with the TV not working over not having access to my landline phone that I've had for over 40 years and I've had that same number since 2016 with Xfinity. I'm about to turn 80 years old in a few days, and my landline is like my lifeline as it's used for monitoring my medical devices. Now, I'm sitting here with no landline, and I'm just depending on my cellphone for the night/morning. We were told that there was a port issue or something about what should have happened that apparently didn't happen. My frustration was with the entire process, and then to be told that I would need to contact the Voice Repair/Advanced Tech Support for assistance. The matter was said to have been sent to the voice repair tech support. Twice, I was told...."You should be good, please check the phone," and there was nothing. I was told to wait for an update. I'm supposed to wait for an update regarding an issue that I didn't have before calling in about something entirely different. I want my number to remain the same because it shouldn't have been changed. I can't go through a full day without a landline phone, and I need some assistance asap and that is why I decided to post here because trying to get a person on the line to help is quite the task. I would greatly appreciate help with getting this matter resolved, because although each of the agents said, "I understand your concern...", I'm not really sure that they did. I say that because, as we are trying to follow instructions from the agent, he asked about my mobile service. Why is that important when you have [Edited: "Language"] up my landline phone? The ticket ID for this issue is [Edited: "Personal Information"].
