user_i6b4ki Thanks for creating a post. I'm sorry to hear that your having trouble with your Voice service. Was the port confirmed as completed from Verizon and on your Xfinity account, or are you having trouble with no dial tone, cannot make/receive calls, etc.?

xfinity says the port went through and is on their network..i keep getting different live agents who give me different solutions. i have been messaging them for weeks now..Now the latest is that I need a new modem. which doesnt make sense because i was able to make phone calls with my modem which has phone ports on the back..i am just changing the phone number i want to keep from Verizon . so i dont see why the modem makes it the reason for no being able to get a dial tone since ive been using it for years with my other phone number..

Gotcha. That does seem pretty strange, as the phone number issued shouldn't have any impact with the equipment being used. Let's see if we can help work on this so you don't have to continue to reach out and get mixed information. Our team can keep a DM open as long as needed to help get this line working. Please send our team a direct message with your full name and address.
