Hello @user_0lk0sm, and thank you for reaching out here on our Xfinity Community forums.
We’d be happy to help with the Voice Guidance issue you’re experiencing with your new TV box and remote. We also want to thank @EG for bringing your post to our attention.
Could you tell us a little more about what happens when it gets stuck in the loop? For example, does Voice Guidance repeatedly turn itself back on, keep repeating the same prompt, or prevent you from completing the setup?
In the meantime, if you’re using an X1 Voice Remote, try pressing the B button twice to access Accessibility Settings and turn Voice Guidance off. You can also press and hold the Voice button and say “Voice Guidance” or “Talking Guide” to toggle the feature.
If it remains stuck, try unplugging the TV box from power for about one minute, reconnecting it, and allowing it to fully restart. Let us know what happens afterward, along with the model of the TV box or remote if available, and we’ll be glad to continue troubleshooting with you.
