Utility box

Hello

i would like to express my concern on a utility box that was installed in my home. It is a huge tower and eye sore that I believe takes a lot of value to my home. The worst part it is right in front of my home I live in an upcoming community and the box is more on my side rather than it being in between my neighbors. I have tried thinking of ways to add landscaping but it’s just so tall. Someone mentioned to purchase a big rock to cover it but with the tower being so big it’s horrible look for my home I would really want it relocated or possibly having it be put underground. AT&T has all their stuff underground I don’t understand why Comcast is not able to do this yet? I don’t have Comcast or want it but I would appreciate the tower being moved up to where it’s not an eyesore to my home. I can send videos pictures to show proof. The contractors did a horrible job did damage to my grass and left it all a mess I was even told the tower is not put in correctly so I would want accountability please.

Can someone please contact me ??

Hello @user_r21b34., thank you for visiting our community forums. We certainly understand wanting to maintain the best home aesthetics! The next best step would be creating a ticket for our local teams to survey the pedestal. It may be possible to switch over to an underground vault if infrastructure allows, but I would be unable to guarantee a conversion. If you could send our team a direct message with your full name and address I'd be more than happy to look into this for you.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
