Utility box on property

Hello, I have a question about a Comcast utility box on the corner of my property and don’t see that it is listed as an easement on my survey or deed and title paperwork. Is there someone I can speak to about this? Looking to have a fence put in around yard asap. Thank you.

Thanks for reaching out — and great question. When it comes to utility boxes, even if an easement isn’t listed on your personal survey or deed, it’s still possible that one exists for public utilities like Comcast, electric, or water services. These easements are often part of city or county records and may not always appear in closing documents.

We recommend reaching out to your local city or county zoning or planning office first — they’ll have the most accurate and up-to-date information on public utility easements for your property. They can confirm whether there’s an active easement tied to that box.

I have similar condition with my Comcast junction box on my property. Only in my case I have survey showing easement and Comcasts green box is OUT of that easement and on my propert. I kindly request that the box be moved into surveyed easement.

That option does not work, pencil paper, Xfinity Support. My address is [Edited: "Personal Information"]

Name on account is [Edited: "Personal Information"]. Besides green box movement i want cable from install at [Edited: "Personal Information"] running across my property buried..its been months. Sub contractor was here because of property damaged cause by installed on my property told me he would see to it that it would be buried. Then Comcast tech came out made report took photos still nothing. Wire is now discolored after being exposed to the sun its been so long..ita only a matter of time before I trip and injure myself, and Comcast knew all along cable was a liability makes them liable, knowing is negligent.
