Upgraded to xFi complete with XB7, same speeds as old router

Hello. I upgraded to the xFi complete package for my home internet and when I last spoke to a representative in the direct messaging they assured me that if I were to upgrade to the complete that my upload speeds would boost from 35mbps to 200mbps but after installing and activating it has not changed from when I was utilizing my own equipment. Can you please look into this? I also have 1200 mbps service and the download is still the same around 925~mbps on average when utilizing the speed test. Thank you!

Thank you for your post, @jarrod_l. Is that speedtest of ~925 Mbps a result of testing the speed to your device, or by using the Xfinity app to test the speed to your Gateway? You will often find results of around 940 Mbps on devices that are only rated up to Gigabit (1,000 Mbps).

Yeah I realized it after I posted my NIC is only 1.0gbps so that's perfectly fine. What I am curious about is the "Next Generation" upgrade in my area according to the rep in past direct messaging but it is still at 40mbps when I was told it would be bumped up. Is there something on Comcast's end that needs to be done?

Do I need to change my plan to the 1200mbps 12-month one? I currently have the 1200mbps but for some reason it allows me to add a separate 1200mbps plan at $0/mo.
