Upgrade to unlimited data

I'd like to upgrade my plan to unlimited data (own my own modem). I believe it's $30/month. There seems to be no easy way to do it online so I would like to DM customer service to see if they can help.

I currently have no access to DM bubble on my page...

@user_fyn7ma, hi! The DM bubble is not available until your first posting onto one of our public boards. This is because unsolicited DM to anyone, including Xfinity Support employees, is against our Guidelines and Acceptable Use Policy. You need to wait for them to invite you first, which is what I am doing now. Go ahead and send a DM to Xfinity Support with your full name and address. We'll get you upgraded.

Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:

 

• Click "Sign In" if necessary

•Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page) or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

•Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

•Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list

•Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

•Press Enter to send your message

Hello! I put in a DM but it suggested that I comment on a similar post. I am trying to use the Unlimited Data option as well and getting the "Temporary Error".

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

As an FYI. Be advised that sending an unrequested direct message to the support team is a violation of their forum guidelines. It may get ignored.
