@user_f88949 Thanks for reaching out on our forums and asking a great question! We try to provide customers with a plethora of options to update their equipment, I'll provide them below!

Visit one of our Xfinity stores to swap out equipment, an appointment is not needed, but if scheduling one makes you feel more comfortable you can visit our Xfinity store locator website at https://www.xfinity.com/local/store-offers?q=29.7388%2C-95.8309 schedule an appointment.

Go to  xfinity.com/equipmentupdate and follow the on-screen steps, if eligible.

I can also help with getting new boxes shipped out to you if you would like to reach out to via direct message, but shipping can typically take up to 7 days. The choice is all yours, but I'll send some instructions below on how to send a Direct message and the information I would need to give you the best assistance. 😀


Click "Sign In" if necessary 

  

• Click the "Direct Message" icon in the upper right - it looks like a chat bubble   

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon just to the right of Conversations 

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line - do not use the Employee's name! 

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window 

• Press Enter to send it 

 Please include your name, the account holder name (if different), and the service address alongside a detailed summary of your request/question.
