Unsolicited text

Yesterday got an unsolicited text from Xfinity that they identified a potential slower speed of connectivity and they are sending a technician to my home to check it out. How do I confirm it’s from Xfinity?

Hi, @user_a9974a. I hope that you're doing well. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Text alerts from Xfinity are sent from 266278 (COMCST). You can also confirm an upcoming appointment conveniently via the My Account app.

Additionally, it's our priority to ensure you have the best experience. Have you encountered any trouble with your connection that this notification could be in relation to?

@XfinityJay the app said I had no appointment which was concerning. Also on the phone automated help said I had no appointment. I finally was able to speak with a representative who confirmed that I have an appointment. Please synchronize information on all platforms so there is no confusion or alarm. Thanks!
