Underground Cable Work
I requested service and when Tech came out I was told our area needed an underground cable run. Upon asking of the cable I asked if it'd be a big digging in my yard. They said no. It was almost two weeks and nothing. I called them, got the run around and then sent a text and they said within a week someone would be out. They did come out and marked the grounds with flags and paint. I saw the surveyor and he said he needed nothing from me. He left with no word and I awaited for another follow-up. Nothing from Comcast and I called and then text only to have them tell me they will be out within a week. Before the week had come, my neighbor knocked on the door and said Xfinity came and asked them if they could dig on their property and they said "no"; a few days later they came home to find them digging on their property. They told them "no" but they dug anyway AND TO TOP IT OFF, my address is clearly NOT theirs. Why they would be on their property and not mine makes no sense. They called the police and even Xfinity to tell them of the issue and Xfinity said they'd send someone out to correct and check their digging but no one ever came. At that time, i sent the Xfinity text a message on 9/24/26, Up to then still no word or update on anything going on - not even that a digging had even taken place - and requested to cancel my service. I selected "3 - Cancel my Xfinity services" and it was confirmed and I declined on a callback. Now this weekend, after weeks of still no communication a surveyor in a gray car with yellow and black marking on the bumper comes to my house and begins randomly spraying on my grass in a new location (closer to my property but between my neighbors yard red spray. I canceled my order no email, no text, or phone call with a left voicemail. Why are they on my property at all and why no more communication. I log into Xfinity to see a current status of "Dig Scheduled". WHY? I can't call and get through to anyone and all the AI on the phone sending me here and there will not allow me to get in touch with anyone on this particular matter. Xfinity better not come and dig on my property. I'm not sure what is going on with them but they have also not followed up on my neighbors inadequate digging and I can't get in touch with ANYONE. Why are they still coming to my home but sending me no updates or communications of any kind. Why is there even a status on this request rather than a canceled status... THIS IS ALL RIDICULOUS AND IT'S BEEN JUST ABOUT A MONTH AND NOTHING, NOT EVEN TEH DIGGINT HAS HAPPENED. We've gone to another provider and do not even need the service anymore, i do not want them on my property any more or doing anything further. Without getting in touch with me or communications going to them adequately how can I be sure they wont do something on my property...?

The concern is not "Home Security Devices And Equipment" help related........... Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

We understand your concern, especially since you've already requested cancellation, moved to another provider, and are still seeing underground work scheduled for your property. You shouldn't have to keep reaching out just to find out what's happening.
We'd like to review the status of your cancellation and the associated underground work order to determine why crews are still visiting the property and what needs to happen to stop any work related to your canceled installation.
