Unburied cable issues

I recently had a new cable buried and the team who came out to bury it hit gravel and left several feet of the coaxial cable exposed and just piled the gravel in top of it.  I reached out to the cable technician who updated my equipment indoors and he escalated the issue to his boss and in turn got with the management of the dig contractors.  A ticket was opened and within hours tge ticket was closed without explanation.   I have yet again reached out to Comcasrmt and a new ticket was to have been opened again.  Sick of this run around. This situation causes a major safety issue for me running my  tractor mower and for my lawn service

The concern is not "accessibility / disability" help related............ Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hello @user_x75zoy, and thank you for reaching out on our Xfinity Forums!

(And thank you @EG for spotlighting this for us! ❤️)

I can certainly understand your frustration, especially after taking the appropriate steps to report the issue, only to see tickets closed without a clear resolution while the exposed cable remains a concern.

Based on what you've described, we understand your concern regarding both the unfinished burial work and the potential safety hazard it creates for you and anyone performing lawn maintenance on the property. We'd like the opportunity to review the tickets and see what happened with the previous requests.

At your convenience, please send us a Direct Message with your full name and complete service address. We'll be happy to look into this further and help determine the next steps toward getting the cable properly addressed. We appreciate your patience and look forward to assisting you.
