tv hook up connection

I was sent a new tv control box, I have connected it up and it doesn't work. I need help.

Hey @pamadeo43, thanks for reaching out to Xfinity Support on our forums. I can certainly help with the new box. When you plug it in, are you getting an error or is it showing the welcome screen?

I am having the same issue. I get the welcome menu but then no signal pops up.

Good evening @user_oml0jv, and thank you for letting us know that you are experiencing issues with your TV service as well. To confirm, is this a new box or, has this box previously worked? May I also ask if you have tried restarting your cable box?
