Trying To Cancel Technician Appointment, But Can Only Reschedule?

Hello,

The issue I was experiencing is no longer occurring, so I was trying to cancel an upcoming technician appointment.  However, through the website and the chat support bot it only gives me the option to reschedule?  How can I cancel this?

 Hi there user_39fuoz! Thanks for using our Forums and our team is here happy to help you with the upcoming appointment you need to make some changes to. To get started can you send us a DM with your complete name and service address? 
To send a "direct message" / "private message" message to Xfinity Support:
 • Click "Sign In" if necessary
 • Click the "Direct Message" icon
 • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
 • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
 • As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
 • An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
 • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
 • Press Enter to send it
