Trying to cancel service after moving out of the country

Dear Xfinity, I am trying very hard to contact you to inform you that I have left the country and would like to close service and the account for home Internet and mobile.  Callback have not occurred despite being booked and waited on the phone as planned.

Dear Xfinity Customer Support,

I am writing to formally notify you that we have permanently relocated to Australia and will no longer be residing in the United States.

As a result, we are requesting the immediate termination of all Xfinity services associated with our account, including:

  • Xfinity Mobile

  • Xfinity Home Internet

  • Any other active services on the account

We will also be stopping payment, as these services are no longer needed or usable.

Please treat this message as our official notice of cancellation and account closure. We request that all recurring charges be stopped and that the account be closed as of the earliest possible date. If any equipment return is required, please provide instructions by email.

Please confirm in writing that:

  • All services have been cancelled

  • No further billing will occur

  • The account has been closed

Thank you for your prompt assistance.

Sincerely,
