Transfer Service Request Scheduled & Equipment Shipping Early
Hello!
I am moving apartments towards the end of this month. So, in preparation I scheduled a transfer of service for the move-in date of my new apartment, which is a couple weeks out, but for some reason I am being shipped new equipment already to that address that I do not live in or have access to yet. I don't want to be liable for equipment delivered to an address I don't live at yet - can we fix this?

If the package already shipped, you should be able to use FedEx options to hold at a location, details here : https://www.fedex.com/en-us/shipping/hold-at-location.html. Beyond that, we would work with you if the equipment is not received. Let's check the status. Please send a direct message to us by clicking the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page, click on the pen and paper icon, then enter “Xfinity Support” in the “To” section. Please include your full name and complete street address.

Now that it appears everything has been addressed, with service being transferred successfully, we'll mark this as resolved (especially since we haven't heard back from you since our latest direct messages).
