They gave me a quote for a five year price guarantee of one 115.70

I’m having a problem renewing my current Xfinity Internet service through the chat online. They gave me a quote for a five year price guarantee of one 115.70 and then as I was approving the link for the new service, she came back after five minutes and said that that wouldn’t go through and she had to change it to one 135.52. Even though both contracts were exactly the same. My current service with Xfinity expires next month and I would’ve signed up for the 115.70 for the next five years. I thought it was very unprofessional.
I will attach the chat transcript of our conversation. If you guys aren’t gonna honor the original price of one 11570 for the current service I have I’m gonna go ahead and cancel the service altogether when my contract is up next month I’m gonna go to AT&T or somebody else

I am in the same situation. Called first time maybe in February of 2025 after bill jumped to from about 82 to 107. They said I could get an 83 dollar promotion and a free modem. Tried to pick up modem and was turned down. Price was raised. Called back and gave me a 5 year guarantee and mailed me free modem. Price jumped again from 83 to 107.
