The Manahawkin Store location lack of Customer service.
Hello, I have had to go into my local store for a few things, and each time, the experience gets worse. I am not sure what your staffing model is or if the manager is just incompetent or unaware of peak times, but the wait times are horrible. On one of my last visits, I got there around 3:15 PM; there were 6 associates and a manager, and I was told it would be a 30-45 minute wait. I did not know I could make an appointment, but from what I see, that really doesn't matter. As the time went on and got closer to 4:30, all but two associates had left, and the customers, who I assume are getting off work, flooded in. Even the person checking people in left, and the line was growing out the door with no one caring. The person who I assume was the manager finally came up, and man, did that man have an attitude. I explained what time I got there and was told no longer than 45 minutes, and now we are close to two hours. He finally helped me, and it was a horrible experience, and I left with nothing accomplished. The other people in the story, some who had been waiting close to 3 to 4 hours and some with appointments, were so angry I really thought a fight would break out. So many people were telling me they waited over two hours that morning only to be told that an appointment would be made for them later and to come back, and now they were waiting longer.
Today, I need to return a cable box as I was sent a new one and told I would have to wait for a consultation, and the person could not give me a time. He told me he could not check the equipment in as his iPad was broken. I had to get back to work. I was not given a return label to ship the box back, and I watched the person in his role do that for hours the other day. The manager who was hiding at a desk towards the back behind a sign was again an "[Edited: "Profanity"]." Another associate took the iPad, completed the task, and provided me with a receipt.
On my first trip, I was ready to cancel all of my service; I was going to drop the Internet, but the pricing I saw online seemed to be for new customers only, and the price I was given was significantly higher. Do you just not care at all about existing customers? I ended up calling the next day and asking to speak to a retention team or something like that, and I was given a plan that was more cost-effective.
I would be cancelling my service if I could after this experience, but I need reliable, strong internet for my job, and right now there are no other options, and the cellular version can not even provide 1 gig, which is the minimum I need. I would really like to speak to someone in corporate, and I was unable to find a way to send a direct message to Xfinity support as I saw in other comments.

Hello @user_nq8n1g Thanks for reaching out. I am very sorry to hear about the multiple experiences you had at one of our store locations. I'm glad to hear the retention team was able to find a more cost-effective deal for you and our team would be more than happy to help with any other outstanding issues with the account. Could you provide a little more information of what you would like to speak to corporate about, and we can get you pointed in the right direction?
