The loss of ABC
I have been a Comcast customer for 47 years and was always able to watch ABC. In all those years, there has never been a contract dispute that cut off a channel. Shame on Comcast for your lack of negotiating skills. Comcast can spend millions of dollars advertising during high profile sporting events (football, basketball, the Olympics, and plastering their name on ice skating rinks) but can’t seem to negotiate a Scripps contract. Your customers are already paying exorbitant prices (I pay $347 a month) and should not be burdened when any price increase. Let your shareholders take a loss! Your CUSTOMERS deserve a REFUND. We’re paying for a contract that you broke! It looks like some legal action needs to be taken on the part of your customers.

Hello @user_xx7pjd, thank you for taking the time to leave a post. We truly hear you, and your feedback genuinely matters to us. We understand how frustrating and upsetting this situation is, and it’s completely understandable to feel disappointed. Being a customer for 47 years reflects an incredible level of loyalty, and it’s natural to expect consistency and reliability in return. Channel disputes are especially difficult because they directly impact your viewing experience, and we know that the behind-the-scenes nature of these situations doesn’t make the disruption any easier. We also want you to know that your concerns about pricing have been heard and are taken seriously. While we’re unable to comment on negotiations or legal matters, please know that our teams work hard to reach agreements that keep programming available while also striving to limit cost increases for customers. We recognize, however, that explanations don’t ease the inconvenience you’re experiencing right now, and we truly regret the frustration this has caused.

I absolutely agree with you. I am so tired of taking the hit for everyone who has an agenda. Xfinity/Comcast is a huge billion dollar company and should be able to settle with Scripps (another huge billion dollar company) to return ABC to our contracts without increasing our monthly bills. Perhaps the higher ups in these two companies don't want to lose their big paychecks/or bonuses, but its time the regular person is taken care of!! I have not seen a decrease in my bill since the network was taken off and I hope to not see an increase when it comes back on. I have given Xfinity 37 years of payments and would like consideration in return. Maybe WOW or Direct TV would be more customer friendly...
