Terrible customer service from Xfinity NOW
I purchased Xfinity NOW plan over online, but neither received order confirmation email nor msg to my phone. Thought this service does not work, and signed up with another service provider. Magically that night someone dropped a xifnity modem infront of my door. Now I want to cancel the service, and return the modem, but neither Xfinity portal nor Xfinity app shows the NOW plan, so I am unable to cancel it.
Now I reached out customer support, and its literally either NON EXISTENT or WASTE your time. First chatted with customer support agent, they said that they cannot cancel the service from their side, and I have to do it from my side, but am not seeing the plan in both portal and app. Next one is a scheduled call back, this time first one customer service agent attended the call killed ~15 mins and transferred to another agent. That agent repeated the same steps for 15 mins, then asked me to hold, I am patiently listening to the dumb hold music for next ~40 mins, no one came back to me and call dropped. Literally I spent 2+ hours with custoemr support, and lost 2 hours of money plus mental peace.
During the chat with a customer support rep said that here is my order id 1001057063732082 and looks like its fully not synchornized to my account. I am not sure why customer has to pay this much mental peace as payment for poor Xfinity service. Xfinity admins, if you see this message, please cancel the service and refund my money. Send me return shipping label, I can send the received equipment back to Xfinity.

Hey there, @swoonna, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums. Here is a link with the steps on how to disconnect your NOW account. You would need to complete these steps online. The Xfinity gateway is included free of charge and does not need to be returned. https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/manage-now-subscriptions. Let us know if you have any additional questions.
