Hello, @user_nzi19a sorry to hear your home was caught in a fire. I hope you and your family are safe and doing well. I can get you set up with a seasonal hold or disconnect services until your able to return home. Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? To send a direct message:

1. In the top right corner, you'll see a little chat icon near the bell icon. Click the direct message icon

2. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

3. In the 'To' line, type "Xfinity Support" there. A drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list (an "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line)

4. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

5. Press Enter to send it. An official employee, such as myself or whoever is first available, will respond. Thanks!

They are still trying to charge $8 per service!  They refuse to waive the fee

Good morning @user_q6qak2, and thanks for reaching out to us on the Xfinity forums, I hope this message finds you well. If the account were to be put on a seasonal hold, there is still a small monthly fee, but we also have the option to close the account and then just open a new one once the services are needed again.

I am an Official Xfinity Employee.
