Switching internet plans from standard Xfinity internet to NOW100 internet plan, and I need to make a payment plan. Direct Message Request.

Hello, 
I'm making a Direct Message Request here. 
I currently have an Xfinity Internet only plan. Only interested in Internet, please don't suggest add-ons, changing service. I want to switch plans, I want to Xfinity Internet NOW100 plan. I heard I need to request that Xfinity disconnect my current service and then have an Xfinity representative switch me to the Xfinity Internet NOW100 plan. If this is the case, I'd like to do this ASAP and, minimize any service interruption. Can you please contact me (call me) ASAP so I can begin this process? I'm past due on my payment, so I also need to make a payment plan, can you help with this?
Also, will I need to switch my router and/or modem? Lastly, the Xfinity internet NOW100, will this router herenTP-Link AX1800 WiFi 6 Router V4 (Archer AX21) and this modem here Hitron CODA DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem ONLY be compatible with the Xfinity internet NOW100 plan, should I ever want to replace the Xfinity equipment with my own?

This would be done here on the forum via private chat. To answer your additional questions, you will need to switch to a NOW internet modem. Customer owned modems are not able to be used. You can use a stand-alone router with the modem if you wish though. 

If your XFINITY Internet account is past due, and you disconnect, a payment plan is not possible. A payment plan can only be added to an active account. A disconnected account with a past due balance would be subject to standard collection activity.
