Still no refund?

I talked to an Xfinity rep 3 weeks ago about getting the $59 duplicate charge refunded, they said 4-6 business days. No refund yet.

Hello, @DTOFROMSD are you able to let us know if you received a notification about the credit or adjustment? If account alerts are enabled from "My Account “you will get communication about the activity.

You can enable them if needed by signing into www.Xfinity.com and going to the purple account icon. Then go to Account Identity and then Account Communications.

@DTOFROMSD I do appreciate the additional insight! We are able to process refunds for overpayments resulting in a credit balance on the account or for refunds needed on disconnected accounts. When these are processed, the system will attempt to send the refund out to the last used payment method on file within 30 days. In most cases, you will see the amount refunded within 7-10 business days (depending on your financial institution) if the credit balance being refunded is $25 or less. If it is over $25, then it can take up to 30 days for the funds to be sent back to your account.

If it fails to send the payment out to your last used payment method after 30 days, then you will receive an email to the verified email address on the account to go through the process of setting up a prepaid card online to receive the refund. If there is not a verified email address on file, then a prepaid card with the refund amount will automatically be mailed through USPS to the billing address on file and should arrive within 7-15 business days. Since you mentioned that it has already been 3 weeks, I would keep an eye out for the refund appearing in your account over the next week, and then if still no refund has been processed, I would check the email on the account to see if you got a notice that the refund failed and you need to set up a prepaid card. You can visit our Refunds From Xfinity site to learn more on the prepaid card refunds if you end up not receiving the refund back to the last used payment method.

It was a payment made at an Xfinity store to pay off my old phone.

@DTOFROMSD Got it! Since you mentioned this was to pay off a phone, it sounds like this is for a refund for Xfinity Mobile. Exact timelines and refund options may be a bit different for Mobile accounts, and since our team doesn't have access to Xfinity Mobile accounts on this platform, I would recommend reaching out to one of our Mobile Experts over the phone or via chat to get confirmation the refund was submitted and on its way for you! Below are their contact details-
