Spoof call from Comcast

Just got a call from the Xfinity Number - 1-800-266-2278. Guy with an indian accent, calling me from a loud call center. Said something about my firewall being compromised. Asked me to go to the modem - he said he would send a signal to it.  I told him I don't see any blinking lights on the modem. He then asked me to go my PC and go to this website. I said I don't trust you, I'm calling Xfinity back. He said I am with Xfinity, I can provide your name and account number. I didn't relent and he swore and hung up on me. How is Xfinity allowing these spoof calls to happen?

That link is mainly for people who have Xfinity Mobile. What I have mainly is Xfinity Internet

I have reported fraud on my account due to an order for a cell phone replacement that I did not place.  I did not know this until I went into my account to pay some some bills and saw that Xfinity charged my account for the initial amount.  I then received another phone call from - 1-888-266-2278 from a representative that was following up from the order that was placed two days prior so she could update the card on my account.    I informed her that I did place the order and she would not need an updated card, as it was reported for fraud.  She then told me that they have been trying to contact me all day to update the card - hmmmm????  When you call the 888-266-2278 it is an Xfinity number - why would a representative call me back so she can update my card number, when my account was charged for the device that I did not order?
