Spammed by tech support rep

I got frustrated with a tech support rep earlier today because they weren’t listening to what I was saying and were insisting on troubleshooting steps that wouldn’t help my issue. I hung up the phone, Ever since then I am getting spammed via text message with “additional information you’ve requested.” They are all random articles that I definitely did not request. I’ve received at least 20 today.

How can I get this tech support rep to stop spamming me with articles?

Hey there, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums @Tamarino! We would be happy to help you with the customer experience you have had with the previous agent you spoke with to ensure this issue does not happen again. Can you please send us a Direct Message so we can get more information?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
