Site Survey Needed

Good afternoon, I’m looking to get service installed for a new home just about 285’ from the road. There is a clear shot to the road, and a node + tap on the pole our electrical is serviced from too. I was wondering if I could get help in getting a site survey done to figure out what we need moving forward

Hi there @AustinJF

Please PM me by clicking on my name and the "Send a Message" button and provide me with the address you'd like service at, and we'll put the request in.

Note that the process starts with a desktop survey, not a field survey. We'll have our specialists use geolocation tools to determine feasibility to boot and move to a field survey if necessary.

Just as an FYI to set expectations, 285' may be a straight line of sight, but there may be easements, right of way, etc that need to be taken into account so based on what a construction length may be, there may be a costing element associated.

I have an identical situation. The pole on the road has a double tap and a straight shot to the pole next to the house about 350'.  My brother works as a field tech in Washington and said if he were engineering the run he would run 500 coax pole to pole and a house amplifier.
Any way to overcome the desktop survey limitations and get something started? I am willing to pay for the line.  Thanks

@Deano511  PM me and we can take a look. The max distance for coax is around 250 ft without the plant extension, typically it's $20/ft with cost sharing on boths dies, also in-home amps aren't recommended.

I would also like to request a site survey. There’s a Comcast box on my property, 30 feet from my house. Thanks

I am currently buying a house in Blue Ridge, GA and interested in being able to get Xfinity service (currently service not available). How can I move forward in looking into if this can be done?

I have been waiting over a month for a site survey on my new home in Stafford, VA.  All of my neighbors are Xfinity customers. How do I proceed?

I’m waiting for weeks ( requested a transfer of service early June to my new home) to hear when a survey will be done. Working from home and the rest of the family also in desperate need of internet without any indication when a line will be dropped at out house is frustrating. My neighbors on the either site of the (dead end) street all have Xfinity so it shouldn’t be too hard…also my subscription was cancelled so we can’t use hotspots. Any help with expediting this annoying process is appreciated.
