Service interruption.

I am in the same boat. I pay Xfinity on time every month usually early. I have missed 10 days from work in October due to internet outages. I can’t afford a back up service and shouldn’t have to. I advise finding a different company like I’m doing. I have their equipment coming to try. But honestly ANYTHING is better than Xfinity. Sad too because I have rarely had an issue with them before this summer and I have 2 accounts with them. After the amount of missed time from work including the outage today, I may even get fired. I am going to file a complaint with BBB because they only wanted to give me $30 credit for both my accounts 😂. I’ve been with Comcast a long time and I can’t get away from them fast enough now. My neighbor also works from home with the same issue.

Hello @user_73qhbx !  I'm sorry to hear you've had problems with your service recently. The internet being down is definitely a problem anytime, but certainly if you work from home. We would only be able to compensate for the services charges during an interruption, but I would be happy to make sure you have received the appropriate credit and also check to see what may be going on with the service itself.  Please send a direct message to us by clicking the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page, click on the pen and paper icon, then enter “Xfinity Support” in the “To” section. Please include your full name and complete street address.

No thank you, as the amount you want to “credit” is not nearly enough to cover wages I’ve lost and probably losing my job all together. I’ll let BBB sort it out. I refuse to waste any more time trying to get your company to make it right and I have zero problem  taking my card off file and letting any upcoming balance for my 2 accounts go to collections. I’ve called several times and used chat as well. It’s pointless. I can understand a couple of times… but 10 days this month? What is going on with your service? You are going to lose a ton of customers because there are many other companies around that are cheaper with better service

I understand, @user_73qhbx,, and I apologize for the downtime. As I mentioned, while we understand folks use our service for work and other items that are critical, we are not able to add credit beyond the service cost. If you do change you mind and would like us to take another look at the situation, we are more than willing. As far as what is going on, I would need to view your account to make an assessment.
