Service installation issues
Good afternoon Xfinity,
My issue began on June 2nd when the Tech (Brian) came out to install internet at my home. The tech came to assess the residence and realized I did not have a cable wire running to the house and one needed to be laid down. I followed up multiple times each day last week which I was being told that the service would be completed the following day. Each day I waited and no one showed up. This resulted in about 15 hours wasted waiting around and making phone calls which I was given un clear information. Finally today, 6/9/2025 my door bell rang to have someone bury and install the cable line. I am now being told I need to go to a Comcast store to pick up my internet equipment for the technician to install on Wednesday. Is this correct? I really do no have the time to follow up with anymore incorrect information.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
