Senior Friendly Bill Pay Options

I work at a senior center and often have senior clients who have Xfinity service, but are unable to pay their bills due to barriers to technology. They may not have an email or cell phone, or the skills to use a cell phone or email. Additionally, when calling in to the automated system, they may struggle to hear/understand. Are there any solutions for talking to a live agent or creating an Xfinity account without a cellphone? Or in general, any options that are senior-friendly regarding bill pay? Most of the time, they have the ability to pay their bills; it's just that there is no simple solution to assist them in paying their bills. Even if there is a direct link to help pay a bill by typing in the clients address and account number that would be helpful as well.

Hi there, @user_oizztu! We can understand the difficulty with using some of the options available for folks to pay their bill, however we do offer many ways to pay. All of which are listed here :How to make a payment on your Xfinity account.  The links to pay a bill would still require the customer log in with their ID, but here are some additional links with directions that may help:

For the elders in my life, I personally helped them set up autopay. I do understand that is not a feasible option for everyone, but figured I would mention it. Thanks for your feedback on this issue and I hope some of the information I shared helps!

Is there any way to make them an account if they don't have a cell phone, as they won't be able to receive a text message.

@user_oizztu during the account setup process, you can create an Xfinity ID with the user role designation of a viewer, which will let you create an Xfinity ID without providing a phone number.

How do you initiate the account setup process for someone who doesn't have an online account but has active service? When attempting to assist them in setting up their account, it will not allow an account to be created without a cell phone.  

When I click create an Xfinity ID I get this message:

Enter the mobile phone number on your account

We'll send an automated text message to this phone number with a verification code which you'll need to enter on the next step.
