Right now, channels from E. W. Scripps Company are unavailable due to ongoing negotiations. We’re working to reach an agreement that allows us to bring those channels back while also keeping costs from increasing for customers. At this time, we don’t have a confirmed timeline for when they’ll return.
As for credits, they aren’t automatically applied for individual channel changes tied to these types of negotiations. We know this isn’t ideal, and we truly appreciate your patience while this is being worked through.

This "dispute" is [Edited: "Language"] with Scripps. Again the customer suffers while big companies chase profit over customers. Xfinity needs to feel the pain with lost customers which might wake them up. Not only did we lose ABC but 2 other channels as well yet bills continue to rise for less channels. Classic Xfinity game that is past getting old. Stand and pony up for your customers for once. Better be careful X as you may wake up one day to find you have none. Then its TOO LATE!! For once take care of your life blood: CUSTOMERS!!

As soon as fiber is available in our neighborhood, we're dropping xfinity. High prices, saying your cost is locked in for five years, and then they increase your bill $10 for equipment rental. $10 more a month for old equipment. Come on, T-Mobile!

This is what i've heard from Xfinity. Nothing proactive that i can see.
Comcast is proactively issuing credits to some Xfinity Video customers who lost programming due to the EW Scripps contract expiration and who also pay an itemized Broadcast TV (BTV) Fee. Credit amounts range from $1.70 - $9.62 based on different customer scenarios. Only customers who pay a BTV fee are eligible for a credit. The following customers will not receive a credit: • Customers who didn’t lose any EW Scripps programming • Customers who only lost ION channels • Xfinity Communities customers in locations where TV is provided by the property • Note: Xfinity Communities customers with property-provided internet service who add video services separately may qualify • Courtesy service accounts • Customers with Next Gen Xfinity TV tiers, including TV Core, TV Plus, TV Premium, Sports & News TV, and World Soccer Ticket Eligible customers will receive a credit on May 1, or on the customers’ next billing cycle.
Their next response: The credits will go out on June 1st, so you won't see it till you get your June 27th billing statement.
