Scripps dispute

Since we are no longer receiving CBS, I would consider this a good reason to leave Comcast. The 3 basic networks should be guaranteed above all else! We are long time customers and pay way too much for this kind of disruption. This seems to have little to do with tue price we pay and everything to do with your profit margins- I thought Comcast had improved- boy was I wrong!

Hey there, user_37m3a4! Thanks for reaching out about the loss of channels owned by E. W. Scripps. This programming is currently unavailable as Comcast’s agreement with the network has expired. Please know Comcast pays programmers to bring you the entertainment you love, and a number of reasonable offers have been made that they haven’t accepted. Comcast is working toward bringing back this programming, but only with fair pricing, terms, and conditions for customers. I know unexpected changes to your TV lineup can be frustrating, and I apologize for any inconvenience. For more information, visit https://www.xfinity.com/programmingchanges. If you would like to revise our plan options, please let us know, as we are always happy to help you!

I purchased at ABC Warehouse a Antenna and hooked it up to my TV and I was able to get my local stations. Antenna was $12.00.

I am now pay approximately 316.00 a month for the high speed internet, phone and cable package.  Was promised decades ago that prices wouldn't go up and there'd be less commercials.  NOW, we're being told that this conflict with Scripps could make the rates go up again if Xfinity took their offer.  I'm sorry, but Xfinity should eat the cost.  This is insane!

Greetings @user_opvkbf,
Comcast is working toward bringing back this programming, but only with fair pricing, terms, and conditions for customers. We do not have control over the commercials displayed on a network, but we can take a closer look at your plan to make sure that it is aligned with your needs. Feel free to send our team a direct message with your full name and service address if you would like to proceed with the account review. 👍

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
 Click "Sign In" if necessary
 Click the "Direct Messaging" icon
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
 - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
 - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
 Press Enter to send it.
