Scheduled Cable Installation
Xfinity is supposed to install my inground Internet Cable today. I confirmed it via email AND a Live Agent.
First email says my Utilities were marked and Identified. (That did not happen. I was Home)
Latest email says installation will be 2 June 2025 and completed today.
What is going on?
First Email:
We'll schedule work on your underground cable line soon
Your underground public utilities have been marked, and we'll let you know when we're scheduled to complete installation of your new underground cable line. While we will make our best effort to stick to that date, sometimes factors beyond our control – like weather – cause us to shift the schedule.
Well, It's been Sunny and Nice all week.

2nd Email:
A team has been scheduled to complete your underground cable line
We've scheduled a team to install your new underground cable line. While we will make our best effort to stick to this date, sometimes factors beyond our control – like weather – cause us to shift the schedule. We'll let you know when the work is complete or if we're delayed for any reason.
It is now 5:22PM on 2 June and nothing has been done whatsoever. Am I missing something?

Hi there, Jessikat! Thanks for reaching out about the line being buried. The line team works from 8 AM-8 PM, 7 days a week. They complete each job in the order they were ready to go (equipment, permits, lines marked, etc.). Once the job is ready to go it is put on the schedule but the time can be tentative. The team stays at each job until completed. If yours is not done on the date you see (today) it will continue to be rescheduled daily, to the next day, until completed.
