Scam?

Gotten 8 calls since the 8th this month (so almost every business day) in the afternoon from [Edited: “Unverified Phone Number”], that Caller ID labels as "Xfinity". I've never answered, they've never left a message. Today I even had my phone not on silent but my phone didn't ring when they called and usually it will if it's from a legit number even if said number isn't in my contacts.

I had gone to a Comcast store and they said they couldn't look that up. I called Xfinity directly via the 1 800 number and the guy I spoke to didn't sound 100% sure but was thinking it was spam. He verified 844-793-0206 as an Xfinity number but couldn't verify [Edited: “Unverified Phone Number”], but did say it might be a technician (my area last week did have some xfinity work going on). Guy also said he at least didn't see any reason on my account why I might be getting calls.

Searched the number last week and originally I got two results saying scam and one saying it was legit. Running a search now I got multiple spots saying spam and not seeing the result that claimed it was legit.

I finally *67/called the number back and it went straight to an automated voice that sounds like the one Xfinity used. Think it said "Hello! You've reached the Results Companies. We're calling on behalf of Comcast. This call may be monitored and or recorded" then says all representatives are busy. I didn't stay on longer to try and get a person. I sort of hoped a person would pick up with a clear non-American accent but no. And yes, I'm fairly sure "Results Companies" was plural?
