Scam from chat agent?

I recent got offered an amazing deal while chatting with Xfinity. The guy was overly friendly and started talking to me about his trip to visit his mother in another country. He then offered me a deal better than what I was paying. Told me I would get an email or text to confirm and I never got one. No other Xfinity people can see the conversation. I took screen shots thankfully. Did someone hack the account?

@user_4zj27w everything you spoke about sounds like something we do. Our agents do try and make a personal connection and if we are making changes to your account we will send a text or an email out for you to review and approve the order. That said we take your security very seriously here at Comcast so please if you have questions you can always reach out. 

Did you reach out looking for help like on our website or app?

I never got any email or text confirmation of change of account. When I called and spoke to an agent on the phone they said there is no record of this conversation. There is no promotion anywhere close to this I was told. A manager was supposed to reach out to me to “discuss this interaction” and never did.
