Did I Get A Scam/Spam Xfinity Sales Call?

I got the same scam call today (12/8/22). I received the call and voicemail from [Edited: "Personal Information"]. It said to call back on [Edited: "Personal Information"] to get the 50% discount. When I called back, they first asked me for the address. Then he asked me for my monthly bill amount. I refused to provide that and started looking online if this is a scam and disconnected the call.

I just received a voicemail about the 50% off and to call back to [Edited: "Personal Information"].  I called and they said it is a promo for just 25,000 customers and thus not something you can find on the website.  While on the call I found this thread so I hung up.

Voicemail today- the phone did not ring , but a voicemail popped up offering me 50 % off my bill if I called back a number # - etc, same as others in this forum have said.  Did not call back, but interesting to note :::that this started after I visited a Comcast store yesterday to return some equipment.  Is it coincidence to have valid activity with Comcast trigger scam calls regarding Comcast.  Hmmm---makes me wonder about the security of the Comcast store I visited.

@user_5cae44 Coincidence. These calls are rampant right now and targeting all major service providers.

Got the exact same [Edited: "Language"]......I had a few minutes over lunch so it was fun calling them back and wasting their time. It was hard to understand him with his thick accent but I'm pretty sure I have a date with his sister on Saturday!

I got the same scam call and didn't answer and let it go to VM. The VM was left from phone number +1 [Edited: "Personal Information"] and call states it is from Killeen, TX and I live on the East coast. The VM is a female stating "Hi there. I'm calling from Comcast Xfinity to let you know that your existing account is qualified for 50% off. In order to avail the discount, kindly call us back at [Edited: "Personal Information"] from 8 AM to 5 PM Pacific standard time. Thank you and have a great day!"

I just received an identical call on my voice mail from a NY number. It directed me to a number in Pacific time. I assumed it was a scam. Here is the transcription of my voice mail:

“Hi there I'm calling you from Comcast Xfinity to let you know that your existing account is qualified for 50% off in order to avail the discount kindly call us back at [Edited: "Personal Information"] from 8 AM to 5 PM Pacific standard time thank you and have a great day…”

Hello @user_d0dc72. I would be hesitant on this as we do not offer Target Cards. @user_d0dc72

If you posted the text exactly as you received it, you can bet it's not from Xfinity!

Mam should be spelled Ma'am.  It's a shortened form of "Madam".

Phone numbers are never separated in that way.

And "Target" would never be spelled ".T-argeT. Card".

And Xfinity, even if it was from one line to the next would never have it spelled with a capital T.

As @XfinityBrandon mentioned Comcast/Xfinity doesn't offer Target cards.

Have you gotten a call claiming to be from Comcast asking you to buy gift cards or paying upfront for six months or more in exchange for 50% off your bill?  If so, the FTC is well aware of this scam.  If you get a call like this you can report it to     https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/#/
Please help to stop the spread of this kind of fraud.
Thanks!

I got the same thing from a West Palm Beach, FL number. They're calling from FL but referencing PST? Scammy, plus Xfinity is raising their rates, plus they don't typically market to me this way.
