Ridiculous Customer Service
I have spent enumerable hours on the chat trying to resolve the multiple issues I've had with Xfinity in the past 2 years. The multiple service visits each with conflicting information from the techs, who are also frustrated with the corporate [Edited: "Profanity"]. I just spent an hour on the chat with Aniket, trying to simply get a replacement box for one of my tvs. She attempted 2x to upsell me on a new internet plan, after multiple refusals she agreed to replace the box. Then she argued with me about shipping it to me. She finally agreed, sent a consent including the internet plan that I had refused, she tried to slip it by me…
Again I said I just wanted the [Edited: "Profanity"] box, and it was another 10 minutes to get an additional consent, for adding a new TV to my plan. Was this what I asked for? No, it was not. I hesitate to agree to billing changes, due to the fact that I canceled a subscription a year and a half ago and continued to be billed for it, to the tune of $300+. They couldn’t credit all back at once for some reason, and after arguing for over 2 hours about it, I agreed to them reducing my bill a small amount until I was fully compensated. Which will take an eternity. Needless to say I do not trust their book keeping.
Ultimately she said I could just go to the store, and wanted to set it up for me. Which I declined . God knows how long that would have taken. I am hoping I can call the store, request an exchange, go in and pick it up. But I doubt it.
