Repair to stem and node

Technician found an issue with the node in my backyard and said it will need to be repaired. When will this happen?

Hey there, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums! We definitely want to ensure that your outside wiring is working properly! When did the tech find the issue? Did the tech provide any additional details regarding the next steps they would be taking?

Yes. The tech verified from the connection attached to the outside of the house that the home coaxial wiring in the house and the modem had no issues. Then he checked the node on the stem in the backyard. He tested he node on the stem and found issues. He sent the report to his manager. The manager said that the node needs to be repaired. The tech did not give me any paperwork but said that someone would have to come out to repair the node and since the repair isn't inside the house I don't need to be home.

I would like to know when this is scheduled because our internet is intermittent at best.

I appreciate those additional details, and I am happy to hear the tech was able to discover that issue. We would be happy to take a look at your account to see when that outside work is scheduled. I definitely understand wanting to get this issue with your internet connection resolved.
