Remove exposed cable cord

I've been trying to get comcast to remove the shallowly buried cable cord from my yard.   Each time I call, I am told that a technician will be out within 2 weeks; well,  it's 5 months later and the cable remains.  So I ask again to please remove the cable as it is a tripping and electrical hazard!

user_gctu84, Hi there! Thanks for taking the time out of your day to reach out. The last thing we want is for anybody to trip on that wire. You've reached the right team of experts to help with this over social media. Would you mind confirming if you also have services with us that may be affected by this exposed cable?

I do not have comcast service anymore.  The cables still have not been removed.
