re-evaluate home for xfi pod.

During the home evaluation for wifi coverage we were re-modeling and not using a portion of the house. Now that the remodel is nearly done, I have noticed that wifi isn't reaching that portion. How do i redeem my free xfi pod?

Hello, how are you @user_3afa6. The xFi Whole Home Evaluation takes place 14 days after activating your modem and every 6 months after that for 24 months. You can get a full review on how the xFi Whole Home Evaluation works using the link below. To get a free xFi pod the evaluation will need to confirm your eligibility. You will get an email if you are able to get a free pod.

I have a similar issue. xFi complete have been a part of my package for nearly two years. So far, my Wi-Fi signal to most of devices has been good. But recently I have installed some outdoor cameras and plan to install more. The signal is weak, they stay disconnected frequently. Now I don't know if all four of my evaluations have already been done. And if that is the case; can anyone who currently pays for xFi complete can get another evaluation after the four if they are now having trouble? If I can get some help with my situation that would be great, thank you.

Hello @Mr.Morales, thank you for taking the time to reach out to us. We will be happy to assist you with any signal issues that you may be having. I know you mentioned that you're getting a weak signal with your cameras. Are you having issues with any other devices?

I no longer work for Comcast.

Thank you for the quick reply. Whenever I bring a device to the garage the signal gets weak there too. And I cannot move the gateway form its current position due to wiring.

I appreciate the information. Many things can effect the wireless signal levels such as material within the home with the walls, mirrors, brick, and more. You can learn more about our Xfinity xFi Complete – Whole Home WiFi Evaluation here. After 24 months, we would no longer perform any additional wireless assessments to determine if an xFi Pod is needed. You can always purchase an xFi Pod from our xFi Pod WiFi Extenders - Xfinity page or look in to other third-party networking devices that may help fit your household needs.

You can check your e-mail for any past e-mails for evaluations that have taken place. Also, we are unable to start/end any performance reviews, so if your account is eligible, we would need to wait for the next performance review period.

Thanks, good to know. I'm not sure if my last evaluation has been done. Is there any way to check?
