recurring outages without warning - Xfinity will not allow to speak with an agent during the outage
For almost a week now we have had recurring outages or "improvement work" without warning. And to no surprise Xfinity Assistant does not allow you to even chat let along talk to a human representative during an outage and calling will not get you to a human regardless of the prompts chosen, it hangs up on you when it identifies the outage.
Is there any other recourse to talk to a live human person during the recurring outages??
I am out of ideas, aside from possibly getting a human representative response to a forum post, hence the post.

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message" icon (upper right corner of this page)
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send your message
