Received Xfinity Order No. But No Order Confirmation

Hi,

 

I am confused.  I clicked on "Change Plan' on my Xfinity Portal and picked a plan I needed.  I received an Xfinity Order Number immediately.  A few hours later the Xfinity Customer Service called & said the price in not available in their system and hung up.

 

I called the Xfinity Customer Service again.  The rep. told me to put in a Second Order into the system.  I did so & got a New Order Number immediately.  The rep. told me to talk with the Customer Solutions team.  I was on hold for more than an hour and the line got disconnected.

 

My frustration is why does Xfinity advertise prices on their OWN site which their OWN team cannot honor.  Has anyone amongst you been in this situation?  Is there any recourse avaialable?
