REALLY slow internet speeds

I have the 2000mb plan, so 2gb and have been getting 5mbps for the speed. It's been like this for a couple of days now and have tried everything to get it back up to where it needs to be but no luck

Would appreciate any help at all <3

Hello, @user_qg3yz9 sorry to hear you are having issues with your speed. Check out this support page for troubleshooting your connection. Were these results from a hardwired speed test or over Wi-Fi?

@XfinityThomasC it was through wifi, then went to my PC to run a test there and it's still super slow.

I've tried everything for troubleshooting and it's still just so slow 😭

user_qg3yz9 I appreciate your help and you taking the time to check on the speed for me. Have you reset your modem recently? I recommend startings there, please remove both the power and coax connections for 10-15 seconds then plug back in. Please let me know if there is any improvement once you are back online.

Hey it was working after responding to this, but now it's gotten worse. I was thinking of trying to replace the coax cable or something to see if it helps before paying 70-100$ on a tech to come out.

user_qg3yz9 Thank you for the update. I would try and replace the coax cable to see if that helps first too! Please let us know if you continue to have issues. We want to make sure this issue gets resolved.
