Re: Talking to a customer service agent
So what's the answer? A lot of questions but no answers. I have a TV that was left on the floor and not hooked after spending big money for installation. I was told that my smart TV did not need a box but I can't get any channels. But my first bill came on time. I come from NY and even Optimum was better than this company. Try using the AI chat. I asked 20 questions on my problem and I got back an answer like "please pick what topic you need to inquire" Stupid. I would rather talk to a representative that I can't understand then deal with this stupid AI. I hate to do it because they are useless too, but I'm gonna switch to FIOS. I can talk to a human about their lousy product instead of a machine about your lousy product.

1: Your "Smart TV" can use it's built-in apps if you have Internet with anyone. Apps like "You Tube" do have programs from many cable channels. Normally after having been "live" on a cable channel. Use the "Search" field.
2: You are not going to get traditional cable channels showing live programs without having cable service (cable-box) with somebody. Comcast insists that you also use their Internet for their streaming service needing X1 cable-boxes.
3: I have found that hitting "0" when no choices make sense will get a live person to answer the call. Otherwise; a visit to your local service center will get you a live person to speak to, and help in getting your service connected correctly.
