Re: Comcast line down
fwiw, I've been trying since June 30th to get them to come out and raise the line that goes into my house that fell after a branch hit it in the storm. Cable box is stretched out about 6 ft from my house. When it rains heavily internet drops. Big surprise.
10+ calls, 6 appointments (only 1 kept but tech insisted we put it on hold until the tree was removed which was done July 3rd) later, and line is still stretched out and mowers have nearly accidentally cut it several times now. It's definitely worse for the wear.
I finally got ahold of someone at comcast that acknowledged that the tech was just marking the job as complete whenever they'd reschedule the appointment but they didn't know what to do except tell me that someone would contact me "soon" to schedule a new line to be put up. That was a couple weeks ago.
I think comcast doesn't care until you switch. I think the phone line (which I don't have service for) is connected to the comcast line so maybe I can switch and get AT&T to put it back up.
