Property Damage Claim Unresolved for More Than 30 Days – $4,000+ in Damage
I'm looking for assistance escalating an unresolved Xfinity property damage claim in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
Underground construction associated with Xfinity involved directional boring that entered my property and penetrated my home's main sanitary sewer line. A plumber scoped the line, identified the utility bore penetrating the sewer, and documented the damage with photos/video.
The damage resulted in repeated sewer backups and ultimately required me to have the line repaired at my own expense. My total investigation and repair costs exceed $4,000.
I reported the property damage to Xfinity more than a month ago and have followed up repeatedly. Each representative I've spoken with has been helpful, but I've consistently been told that the claim is awaiting review by the property damage claims department and that there is nothing further customer service can do until it is reviewed.
At this point, I'm simply trying to get the claim in front of someone with the authority to review and resolve it.
Can an Xfinity employee please help escalate this to Executive Customer Relations or the appropriate property damage team?
I have the claim information, invoices, proof of payment, plumber's findings, photographs/video, and other documentation available and can provide those privately.
