Why is there a promo for new customers for xfinity  for $25 and not for existing customers?

The answer is quite easy, they care more about new customers than they do existing ones. I too would like to get one of the new customer deals, but have been told twice that “there isn’t anything we can do” because the agent sees the same thing that we do when we want to modify our existing account. I’ve been a customer with them for over 25 years, but that might soon be changing if they don’t become more flexible with their pricing. I don’t care about their rewards for cheap free things or others offers that I’ll never use, I just want equal treatment with new customers. AT&T fiber is coming to the neighborhood this spring, so we’ll see what happens. If Comcast can’t supply what their existing customers want then it’s time to start looking elsewhere.
